Candidacy Announcement

I am proud to announce that I am running in the Mecklenburg County Bar election for the

Governor's appointment to fill the District Court vacancy created by Judge Cureton's election to the Superior Court.

My fellow Meck Bar members, you will have the opportunity--from February 17th through March 3--to have their voices heard. You will get to vote on your candidate to nominate for the Cureton Seat. Governor Cooper will then make his decision on the appointment. The new Judge will need to be able to hit the ground running to keep our court moving forward. eCourts is here and Odyssey comes to Mecklenburg on May 8th. I have the experience, skills, and passion for justice we need.
